Founder, Pediatric Neuropsychologist (she/her)

Dr. Natalie Noonan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University, and a Doctorate in Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology. She completed her internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, with a focus on pediatric neuropsychology and child and family therapy. In addition, Dr. Noonan completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Bradley Hospital and the School of Medicine at Brown University, with clinical and research focus on Autism assessment and diagnosis.

After completing her clinical training, she worked for two years at Rhode Island Hospital as a staff neuropsychologist and Clinical Instructor at the School of Medicine at Brown University. There, she provided didactics for graduate students and supervised and trained pre-doctoral, post-doctoral, and medical students. She continues to conduct research at Bradley Hospital, focusing on Autism treatment. Prior to opening her own practice, Dr. Noonan joined the team at Rhode Island Neuropsychological Partners, where she conducted assessments addressing a wide variety of referral questions. Dr. Noonan specializes in the evaluation of children and adolescents with a wide range of neurodevelopmental concerns, including Autism, learning disorders, and ADHD. Her approach is trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and compassionate, recognizing that each child’s experiences, identities, and environments influence their development and well-being.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Noonan provides guest lectures at local universities upon request, presents on Neurodiversity and Neuropsychology for community events, continues research at the Bradley Hospital in Rhode Island, and serves on the board of directors at the Learning Prep. School in West Newton.

Dr. Noonan grew up in Newton and attended Country Side Elementary School, Brown Middle School, and Newton South High School. In High School Dr. Noonan played soccer, ran track and field, and participated outdoors activities such as hiking, camping, and rock climbing. She also has a long-standing interest in the practice of visual arts, including pencil drawing, painting, and crafts.  

Dr. Noonan currently lives in Newton. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family of five (husband, three children, and dog), outdoor activities, gardening, and traveling, especially to Ireland where Dr. Noonan’s husband’s family resides.
